Litters
A
Our Christmas litter is here, born 24th December 2023 4 boys and 4 girls.
Sadly one of the boys was born sleeping.

We are happy to announce that Betty safely whelped her puppies on 24th December 2023 having 4 boys and 4 girls, sadly one boy was born an angel and had crossed the rainbow bridge but the remaining are all strong, healthy and very lively!!
We couldn't have asked for a more smooth pregnancy and whelp. Everything went to plan throughout and Betty was determined to get those puppies out!! We are super proud of Betty as this is now her 2nd and final litter. As with her previous litter she is very attentive and caring and just won't leave her new family.
This is the second litter we have had by Daddy Titus as we just adore the boy. He has a fantastic temperament which he passes on to his progeny, is fabulous in breed type and just an all round super example of the breed and finally he's a very good looking boy too!
Please be advised that these puppies will be mid to dark gold in colour, NOT cream.

Our breeding philosophy......
We put a lot of thought and planning into each and every litter which we breed here at Applecote and do our utmost to ensure that both parents are extremely compatible. Before contacting the stud dog owner, we research the stud dog's pedigree thoroughly with an aim to produce sound, good quality puppies who have happy and outgoing personalities, excellent temperaments and fit the breed standard as closely as possible. And, as with our bitches we make sure that the stud dog has been fully health tested for all relevant breed related issues.
All Applecote puppies are born and raised in our home and are used to the every day family environment. Like with our adult dogs, the puppies too are much loved family members until they leave for their forever homes.
What we expect from you......
We expect all prospective owners to visit Applecote and the puppies a minimum of 3 times - but prospective owners are welcome to visit as many times as they like, time permitting. Not only does this allows us to get to know the puppies new owner/s and build a relationship but it also ensures that both puppy and owner are well matched as our aim is to provide permanent loving homes from the start. You are purchasing an Applecote puppy as a companion and family member and by such you agree that the puppy will live within the home and being spoilt rotten.
Once we have agreed to allow you to have an Applecote puppy......
Placing the right puppy with each family is our top priority. We aim to get to know each family as well as their needs and lifestyle. Therefore, as with all our litters we match the puppy to the family.
Making sure that both are well suited to the personality of the puppy and the family's lifestyle. Once you have successfully completed your first visit we will email out a copy of our contract for you to read through. If on the rare occasion we decide that a family is not suitable for the new puppy we will contact the family and let them know our final decision.
Our puppies leave us from 8 weeks of age. All are vet checked, micro-chipped and insured for 4 weeks.
We strongly advise the new owner to provide veterinary insurance cover for their new addition as vet bills can add up and be very costly especially during the later years of the dogs life.
Each puppy leaves Applecote with a puppy pack which includes the puppy's pedigree, diet sheet together with a bag of food, exercise and other information. As well as all this we are only a phone call away so if the new owner/s need help, advice or support we are only at the end of a phone call.
We do encourage the new owner/s to keep in touch as we like to be kept updated on how the puppy is growing into an adult and love to see photo's, video's and also receive visits from all our dogs which we have bred.
OWNING A DOG IS A FULL TIME AND SOMETIMES CAN BE AN EXPENSIVE COMMITMENT SO PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE 100% COMMITTED BEFORE CONTACTING US.
