My first judging appointment was in October 2001 and since then i have judged the breed extensively throughout the UK.   I have also judged in The Netherlands, Germany, Hungary and South Africa. 

As well as judging golden retrievers at Championship shows level i am also approved to judge the Gundog group and Best In Show at Open Show level.

Along with judging Golden Retrievers, i also have a keen interest in other breeds within the gundog group. To date i have judged the following breeds at Open show level; Cocker Spaniel, American Cocker Spaniel, English Springer Spaniel,

Irish Setter, Curly Coated Retriever, Labrador, Weimaraner and Pointer. I have also attended the Breed Appreciation Day and passed the Multiple Choice Exam on the English Springer Spaniel, Welsh Springer Spaniel, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Flat Coated Retriever, Gordon Setter, Irish Setter and Spanish Water Dog.​
