Biggie was the goofball of the pack but with a heart as big as any.
He came back home to live with us at 6 months of age and once through the gates here at Applecote it's very rare that they leave again and so he spent the rest of his short years with us.
As he had a lot of potential we began to enter him into the shows where he was always in the cards and bought a rosette home. Biggie never thought of it as a competition, a show was just somewhere that you stood still for a little while until someone made a fuss of you and then run in a circle and at the end 'mum' will give me a treat.
A slow maturing dog with a large frame to fill we felt that 2017 was going to be his year as over the last 6 months he had really matured. Sadly this wasn't to be the case. A few days after New Year Biggie was diagnosed with an aggressive and inoperable mast cell tumour and sadly 12 days later he passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his four legged friends and us, the people who loved him the most. The hardest thing is to make that decision to let them go and help them on their way but Biggie took that out of our hands for which we will always be grateful.
The house is a very quite place without him and not only do WE miss his larger than life personality but the other dogs do too especially his best friend and sister Steph.
Biggie.....i was proud to call you my friend and have you walk by my side.
Always in our hearts and never forgotten.

"When i look into the eyes of an animal, i do not see an animal.
I see a living being.
I see a friend.
I see a soul"
